A centrally sponsored programme was introduced in 1986 but now transferred to the State Sector. This programme followe the norms of SNP or of the nutrition component of the ICDs. Central Assistance for the programme consist of supply of free wheat and supportive costs for other ingredients, cooking, transport etc.
